On April 10th, a 16-year-old girl named [Mio Kamikoshi Wiscott] got into a car accident and passed away.
But when Mio woke up again, she found herself lying on a bed, and after sitting up, she saw that she was in a small grass hut.
“Strange, I remember getting hit by a car and losing consciousness, wait…”
Mio suddenly noticed that her voice had changed, and her hair had turned golden.
“Did I get hit so hard I turned into a Super Saiyan? Damn it, I finally managed to get a ticket to the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie today… huh?”
At that moment, Mio noticed two sleeping girls on the bed opposite hers. She leaned closer to take a look and was especially shocked.
They were characters from Blade Dance of the Elementalers — Mireille Sentyss and Ygdradora St. Ainsworth!
Just then, a blonde, red-eyed girl appeared at the door, dressed in a sailor uniform, looking somewhat like Lala from To LOVE-Ru.
“Who are you!?”
The girl glanced at Mio, then smiled and said—
“Don’t be so guarded. After all, I was the one who brought you back to life.”
“What do you mean?”
“You died in a car accident, but I let you keep your memories and reincarnated you into the body of the Saintess from the Holy King Alexander’s time. As for Mireille and Ygdradora next to you, they don’t have any memories. I’ll soon send you into the Blade Dance world.”
“Why are you helping me? This should be our first time meeting, right?”
“It’s the first time for you, but for me, you’re my savior.”
“Savior?”
“A few years ago in Tokyo, I was being hunted by beings of another race. I happened to escape to just outside your house. As they were about to catch me, you opened the door and let me in. They thought I had fled somewhere else.”
“…I do kind of remember that. I had gone out to take the trash and opened the door. I thought you were one of my sister’s friends. I guess I was wrong. So, what exactly are you?”
“My name is Eve. I’m the child of a human and a god. My mother was a deity from ancient times, and my father was human. But the heavens forbid gods from loving humans. A few years after I was born, they killed my parents for breaking that rule, so I had no choice but to run for my life.”
“I see… you and I really are both quite unlucky. What if the protagonist kills me in that world?”
“Don’t worry. You’ll arrive exactly one year after the Holy King’s death. If you pretend to have repented, the divine beings won’t bother you.”
“Then why that world? I’d rather be a villain in a magical girl world.”
“My power comes from my mother, but I can only create small worlds depending on density. That magical girl world would probably require my mother herself to make.”
“Can I go back to my original world?”
“You can… but it would take a hundred years of magic.”
“A hundred years!? How old are you?”
“Though I look 16, I’m actually 19. But I’m a demigod, so I don’t age and have an eternally youthful body and mind. The same goes for you. Those two little ones beside you have also been changed by me — they’re the same now.”
“Thanks, then.”
“No problem. Anyway, I’ve got something to take care of before I send you to the Blade Dance world.”
“Alright.”
“Then I’ll send you off now.”
“Goodbye.”
Mio’s body began to glow and then turned into particles of light, disappearing completely.
